Three locations, same goal – get as much industry knowledge as possible. Relout at London Tech Week, Infoshare & Founders Mind.
While Krystian and Kacper joined London Tech Week – meeting founders, market players and exploring UK tech scene… Gerard, Olga and Kornelia were present at Founders Mind Warsaw, sharing our recruitment expertise directly with Polish founders and startup ecosystem. Additionally, Kacper also visited Infoshare in Gdańsk.
Founders mind: breaking founder loneliness
Founders Mind is an initiative organized by Michał Bąk where Polish founders meet to share ideas. There are always great lectures from speakers sharing their business experience, but the community wouldn’t function without the networking. Founder loneliness is a real thing, so a community like this is absolutely necessary.
We’re part of this too. This past May, we had the chance to exhibit there. It’s more of a conference than an expo, but there was space for a few stands in the lobby, and Relout was right in the mix. Gerard, Kornelia Pytlak, and Olga went there with a clear goal: to talk about talent challenges. We had a booth, created some content, and even shared some cupcakes, but mostly we talked about Talent Briefing and recruitment challenges. We wanted to address the hurdles founders face because, at the end of the day, people are the ones who build the company.

Infoshare: the international tech scene
As for Infoshare, we were represented by Kacper, our relationship manager, who’s a regular at this event. It’s a major international tech conference in Gdańsk, and we’ve attended several times now. While many people go there for the lectures, we go for the knowledge and the networking.
Our goal is to hear firsthand what tech firms are struggling with and what challenges they face regarding talent and managing IT teams. It’s all about the exchange of ideas and knowledge transfer. We use these insights to better understand the market and stay aligned with the real-world challenges our partners face every day.
What did we learn from the events?
We had dozens of valuable discussions around recruitment strategy, hiring processes and navigating today’s candidate-driven market.
- AI is no longer “coming” – it’s already defining who will win and who will fall behind. The real advantage comes not from using AI, but from adopting and integrating it deep into processes and business operations.
- Many companies openly admit they struggle to define who exactly they should hire to move forward. That’s where Talent Briefing methodology we use allows us to structure the role and hiring profile together with the client.
- UK remains one of the leading global startup hubs, but VC funding is extremely selective, especially now.
- Remote hiring and international engineering partnerships (like ours) remain highly relevant, as access to top engineering talent remains one of the biggest challenges.
- High interest in cultural fit and hiring right the first time. In today’s uncertain market, many companies would rather hire fewer, but stronger people – knowing, that one wrong hire costs a lot.
The conclusion is simple: finding the right candidate is always hard and always worth doing right.
