Relout Meetup I: Partnering with Leeroy, Team Coaching, and a Knight-Style Beer Bath

By April 11, 2022August 27th, 2025No Comments

At Relout we believe the best solutions come from dialogue, and real partnership is more than lines of code. Although we work remotely every day, every few months we turn our virtual office into something more by meeting in person at our Meetups.

Recently we held the first Relout Meetup, organized in two locations: Łódź and Uniejów. It was a weekend full of talks, team bonding, and strategic decisions that set the direction for our company.

Technology and close cooperation with the client

The first part took place in Łódź, where Pablo, an architect from Leeroy, joined us.

Leeroy Group AB (now part of Caspeco AB) is a Stockholm-based restaurant software company with about 50 employees. It provides tools for food ordering, restaurant management, mobile apps, analytics, vendor integrations (e.g., Uber Eats), and custom POS devices. Its main clients are large Nordic restaurant chains.

Relout provided engineering and DevOps talent, plus HR and team support, to help Leeroy strengthen development, streamline operations, and speed up work on its digital platform.

It was a super valuable time: we analyzed many technical topics related to the Leeroy project and used the findings to improve our internal standards. Meetings like this help us not only provide services but also work together on better solutions for real business needs. Our client was not just a customer but a real partner in the talk.

Strategy, growth, and integration

The second part was in Uniejów, where we talked about the future. We discussed strategic plans for the coming months.

  • We decided to officially open recruitment for SRE and DevOps roles to build a base of specialists and people willing to cooperate.
  • We are also starting a referral program and introducing first employee benefits like a training budget, fun zone, and coworking option. This is an important step in building a company that cares for the growth and comfort of its team.

But life is not only about DevOps work! We also had time to integrate. We relaxed in the thermal baths, joined a coaching session on communication and cooperation, visited a local brewery, and even tried a knight-style beer bath. ;))

Our goal: Strong community and close relations

From this first Meetup, we learned our work is more than outsourcing. It is about building a community on trust and knowledge. We decided to focus more on smaller teams and projects that let us grow the DevOps community and increase seniority in our company. We believe that open talk and working closely with the team and clients is the key to new ideas.

See you at the next meetup!
