At Relout we believe the best ideas and strongest relations come from direct meetings. Even if our monitors are hundreds of kilometers apart, we gather to strengthen the team, share experience, and deepen cooperation with partners.
Our second Meetup took us to the charming area of Jachranka, to Hotel Warszawianka. And what can we say – it was a real marathon of talks about technology, future plans, and great integration.
Relout & Leeroy integration
The whole Relout team arrived on site on Monday evening, 26.10.2022. A five-person team from Leeroy joined us, led by CEO Karin and CTO Pablo. 🙂
Leeroy Group AB (now part of Caspeco AB) is a Stockholm-based restaurant software company with about 50 employees. It provides tools for food ordering, restaurant management, mobile apps, analytics, vendor integrations (e.g., Uber Eats), and custom POS devices. Its main clients are large Nordic restaurant chains.
Relout provided engineering and DevOps talent, plus HR and team support, to help Leeroy strengthen development, streamline operations, and speed up work on its digital platform.
After dinner we went to the hotel basement. What happened there? Bowling, billiards, lots of laughter, casual talks and, let’s be honest, plenty of drinks and good beer! For us these evenings mean more than fun – they build real relations that later pay off in daily work. After all, it is easiest to work with people you know and like.
Technical challenges and training that inspires
Even if the evening before was intense, Tuesday was still productive. In the morning, we focused only on Leeroy — their goals, mission, and plans. This helps us give better solutions and understand their business more.
After a solid dose of technical “meat” and a tasty lunch, we had team-building training. We focused on communication, discovered our personality styles, and even… made a film! It was a good experience that showed how important teamwork and understanding each other are.
In the evening we went for a traditional Polish dinner, and then… straight to a VR game lounge. Virtual reality was the perfect “warm-up” after the rich meal. There were standing games, sitting games, something for everyone – a great way to relax and have more fun together.
Successes, promotions and the future of Relout <-> Leeroy
The last day was work again, but very satisfying. After breakfast we had another technical session, this time focused on particular teams and the future strategy of Relout <-> Leeroy cooperation. And that was the moment for awards! We can proudly say our partnership with Leeroy is strong, and we see it in our shared success. 🙂
The second Relout Meetup shows our company is more than a team. It is a community of people who like to work, grow, and build together. In technology and, most important for us, in relations.
