Relout Meetup V: Meeting with DeLaval, the Wawel Dragon, and a Poker Tournament

Honestly, no call or chat room beats meeting in person. When you sit down with your teammate or client, things “click” faster. Out of a sudden, misunderstandings drop, trust goes up, and ideas come out more naturally. It’s the difference between feeling like distant contractors and feeling like a real team working toward the same goal. This is what Relout’s meetups are for.

On March 7–9 we met in Kraków for the fifth Relout Meetup, this time with 19 people. Along with the main backoffice crew, DevOps from smaller projects, we were once again joined by the DeLaval client teams.

We explored a bit of Kazimierz (Plac Nowy 1 and Siedem Miliardów Uśmiechów) and even paid a visit to the Wawel Dragon. Then came the Vodka Factory Museum, where we ran a field game – with aproppriate prizes going to the winners. 🙂

But it wasn’t all puzzles and sightseeing. We also tried Bumper Ball, and even put together a mini-tournament. To close the weekend, we held a poker tournament with two tables – one for beginners, one for advanced players, so that no one was lost without a chance take a risk. 😉

As always, it was a weekend full of fun, games, and great memories. And, as always, we can’t wait for the next meetup!
