In recruitment, some roles are easy. Others seem impossible. We’re not afraid of the hard ones. While other agencies wait for the perfect candidate to magically appear, we proactively break down market barriers to find them. Below are two case studies that show how we solve high-risk hiring challenges.
Case Study 1: Bridging a 9-Hour Time Gap (The “Vancouver” SRE Lead)

In our Outsourcing/Talent Service Model, we tackled a technically and logistically demanding role for a tech company headquartered in Vancouver.
The Challenge: The client required a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Lead. The primary obstacle was the 9-hour time difference (PST). The role demanded that the consultant in Poland work late into the night – often until 1:00 AM CET – to handle incidents and ensure overlap with the Canadian team. Additionally, the client initially sought cost reduction, assuming Polish developers would be significantly cheaper than North American ones – a common misconception as Polish developers now cost as much as the best in the world.
Our Strategy: We focused on our signature “Time to Market” approach, which aims to deliver candidates within 2 to 4 weeks after the “talent briefing” (a deep-dive technical session with the client). We sought a candidate who not only had the technical seniority to lead but also the lifestyle flexibility to accommodate unconventional hours without demanding a prohibitive “night-shift” premium.
The Result: Within two months, we delivered an SRE Lead who exceeded expectations. Beyond technical skills, the candidate possessed a “hidden” advantage: fluency in Spanish. This was invaluable because the client’s previous vendor was based in Colombia, and much of the internal documentation remained in Spanish. Finding a high-level SRE in Poland who also speaks Spanish and is willing to work PST hours really is finding a “needle in a haystack”.
Case Study 2: The Kolbuszowa project: How to find niche talent when your headquarters is off the map

Our first example comes from our recruitment model, where we partnered with a leader in the medical e-commerce sector to find a Foreign Markets Manager specifically for the Romanian market.
The Challenge: The client was headquartered in Kolbuszowa, a small town in southeastern Poland. While picturesque, its location was a massive sourcing challenge. Major hubs like Kraków or Lublin are nearly two hours away, and the local talent pool of 15,000–20,000 people simply did not contain specialists for the niche Romanian e-commerce market. To complicate matters, the client was initially insistent that this be a 100% on-site role.
Our Strategy: We didn’t just search for candidates; we conducted strategic workshops with the client. By presenting clear market data and geographical realities, we illustrated why a strictly local search would fail. We convinced the client to pivot toward a relocation or hybrid model, allowing us to source talent from across Poland.
The Result: In just four weeks, we successfully placed a candidate from Warsaw who was willing to relocate to the Podkarpacie region. This was a critical win, as the Romanian market is currently a highly lucrative, emerging frontier for e-commerce, and the client needed an expert to establish their presence there. This success was so impactful that it led to two immediate referrals from other businesses.
The Methodology Behind the Success
These cases highlight the core pillars of our recruitment philosophy:
- Risk-Free Partnership: Our agency service operates on a “success fee” basis. The client bears no cost unless we find the perfect match, making our expertise a risk-free investment for their growth.
- Data-Driven Consulting: We don’t just take orders; we challenge assumptions. Whether it’s convincing a client to allow remote work or explaining that Polish developers are now as highly valued as their Western counterparts, we use market data to set our clients up for success.
- Speed and Transparency: We aim to close even the most difficult roles within two months. If a role is truly “unclosable” under current market conditions, we provide full transparency rather than making empty guarantees.
By treating recruitment as a strategic partnership rather than a transaction, we turn logistical nightmares into competitive advantages. Whether it’s relocating a specialist to a small town or bridging a 9-hour time zone gap, we deliver the talent that drives business forward.
